I need Friday. But at the same time, I need more time this week to finish stuff.

I’ve successfully kept up with most everything this week, but I’m not sure how - considering I started the week with a cough and congested bronchial tubes, and now have developed to running nose, sinus infection, and a thrown-out rib from coughing. Been sleeping slightly more than two hours a night. Huzzah.

FRIDAY!!!!
I’m about to hit the road. This is a weekend at home and I’m looking forward to being there. If we can get tickets, we may go see the Avengers. If we can’t , maybe the kids will be ok with just one of them :

When I was a kid, we had a pop-up, from which we eventually graduated to an elderly fiberglass/streamliner P-chassis motorhome. Solid trailers have a certain je ne sais quoi of convenience in simplicity
, it must be said.
I figured I wouldn’t try to see Avengers this weekend, between being sick and ticketing/crowdedness being beyond normal bounds of fuckery.

I lived in a 35-footer for a little over two years when my mom first bought land. She thought we’d be able to build a house, but after two years, she finally decided to get a bigger one with more wheels. She didn’t get a permanent structure until after I left for college.
I think the trailer would have been better for a single person or a couple. Sleeping on the fold-out couch got old.
